Every Night Me Go To Sleep


Before Max Romeo was chanting down Babylon and chasing the devil he had a massive hit with this song, Wet Dream, in 1968. 'Every night me go to sleep, me have wet dreams' he sings, and then takes it further. Faced with a ban by the BBC Max claimed it was actually about a leaky roof.

    So I typed in Wet Dreams into Google and it gave me lots of pictures of roller coasters, two girls holding a balloon-dog, nothing risque at all.

    Portuguese google must filter outt he risque. What I got last night was less appropriate for a family oriented blog.

    When I first heard this song I had no idea what a wet dream was. I can't remember how I found out, either - no Google to help me in those days...
