From the 12" single of Primal Scream's If They Move, Kill 'Em this is the 12" Disco Mix, a lengthy mixture of funky drums, noise, guitars, other noises, and that Wild Bunch sample. I don't know what disco this would be played in though.
In a magazine interview recently Mary Ann Hobbs referred to a Weatherall remix of this song, released for one day only. I can't find any other reference to such a remix. Anyone?
Nah cannae help there - But came across this rather impressive collection while hunting..

Released in the January, (single released in the March), with a radio friendly version. And a different Shields remix.
Cheers ANCB. You've been looking in some of the same places I have.

ReplyDeleteIf it's the Word piece then the gist of it is...."So does {Happy Mondays} Wrote For Luck, and then Andrew Weatherall remix of Primal Scream's If they Move....by Kevin Shields...."
What was meant was the Weatherall mix of WFL and Shields If They Move.
