I got tickets to see Johnny Marr at The Ritz next March today. The Ritz has become Manchester's best gig venue, although the curfew's always too early- I missed the start of both Justice Tonight and Half Man Half Biscuit by misjudging my entrance at The Ritz. By coincidence (or not) he's appeared on Radio 2 with Dermot O'Leary, interviewed and performing live (a new song New Town Velocity and The Smiths' Please, Please, Please Let Me Get What I Want).
