Following the previous post here's another song called Monkey Man, this one written by Toots Hibbert of Toots and The Maytals though rather than Jagger/Richards, and sung by the recently departed Amy Winehouse. She released an e.p. of ska covers several years ago, songs that had been covered by The Specials, with whom she sang live a few times.

Would have been interesting to see if she'd pursued this ska/reggae thing further wouldn't it? Sad, sad.
I'd be up for someone reviving the Two Tone spirit/sound.
Was playing this ep at the weekend, still can't fathom out why Cupid is on in though.
Can anyone enlighten me?
On another note why have sales of Amy Winehouse's cds and downloads rocketed since her death. Did the people buying not think that they were worth listening to when she was alive?
I seem to be be a very confused individual at the moment lots of things I can't quite understand!
