A song from 1990's Four To The Floor e.p. where Manchester's A Certain Ratio returned to the dancefloor. Good Together is possibly my favourite ACR song- it opens with a vocal sample (Lou Reed) before a 303 kicks in, the song takes over, the Beach Boys get referenced and Bernard Sumner and Shaun Ryder give backing vocal assistance too. I never get bored of this.
Good Together

A much under/rated pre/post rave/club drive/album of 90/91 at Ted/Towers. Good Together is/indeed the/dogs/ bo//ocks. I've had some uppers this morning. Obvious/y.
Thanks/for //checking in /Ted. Enjoy// your/comedown
Bit disappointed this wasn't a post of the 1983 Irene Cara Flashdance classic, tbh.
The Four to the Floor EP is great. The Singles from the same year are also fantastic. The Big E was sublime - not so big on Sumners reinterpretation as Won't Stop Loving You that ended up on ACR:MCR (blasted A&M Records). Backs to the Walls with it's remix by Frankie Knucles was genious!
I love the Sumner reworking Echorich. They were on a roll at the time.
