Occult Architecture

How many Moon Duo albums does one need? By my count the Portland, Oregon pair have put out four in seven years and I like them all, especially 2015's Shadow Of The Sun. The latest, Occult Architecture Vol 1, is part one of a two part set, one doing darkness and the second light. Part of me thought my bank balance could probably do without another two Moon Duo albums. Do I really need any more Moon Duo? And then I listened to Cold Fear. Two chord fuzz drenched motorik bliss. I'm in.

This is somewhat down my list of prilorities what with the new Brian Jonestown Massacre. Meursault, Eat Lights Become Lights. Laura Marling and Timothy J Fairplay releases and not forgetting the Joe Strummer live in Acton and first ever release on vinyl for City Fallen Leaves by Comet Gain but I hope to get it in the next month or so but then there is the Jesus and Mary Chain album due. I seem to be back where I was when I was 16/17 too many records on the wants list not enough dosh. To be honest 'twas ever thus!

Its a costly habit Drew. Wasn't sure whether you'd be interested in the forthcoming JAMC lp....

Completist SA when it comes to them and the Velvets although I do draw the line at Mary Chain bootlegs, mostly shit.I heard a second track which sounded really good, which threw me a bit to be honest.
