Joey Beltram's 1990 track Energy Flash, with it's one word vocal sample, moved acid-tinged techno another step ahead. Beltram says he made the track because he was looking for things like it to use in his own dj sets and couldn't find many, so he went and made his own. Harder, higher, better, banginger.
