My mp3 player spluttered out of digital life on Sunday, leaving me scrabbling around in the car for cassettes on Monday morning. I found one which was labelled June 06, stuck it in the slot and within three songs this came up- Bootprints by King Creosote, from from his 2005 album KC Rules OK. I was smitten again by this gorgeous little song, beautifully sung by Kenny Anderson, a romantic tale of lost youth and drunken love.
