The title track to their March 1977 release Trans-Europe Express. Peerless and perfect, a sound in motion. Invented pretty much everything that came after it.
I've been listening a lot to the Kraftwerk 2 and Ralf & Florian albums and I'm really enjoying the earlier, more ambient element of their music. There's a great documentary called "Kraftwerk and the Electronic Revolution" that gives some context as to why and how they came about. Lots of interviews with the likes of Schulze, Schnitzler, etc. And it's 3 hours long - good with a nice bottle of red on a Saturday night! I don't get out much!

I need to listen to the early stuff again sometime. That documentary sounds good Michael.
